Meet Dr. Glicksman
Laura B. Glicksman, MS, DMD
Dr. Laura Glicksman graduated from Tufts University with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She earned her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University, and while working toward a PhD, decided that dentistry was her true calling. Dr. Glicksman attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she received an advanced degree in general dentistry (DMD). She then continued in a two-year residency program where she earned a specialty certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Glicksman is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the North East Society of Orthodontists, and the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists. She is a member of the American Dental Association, and is very active in the Massachusetts Dental Society where she served as a former chair of the Standing Committee on Women and Leadership, and as a Guest Board Member. She is also a member and past president of the Charles River Dental Society.
Boston Magazine has recognized Dr. Glicksman in their Top Dentists issue. Dentists receiving this distinction were voted by their peers and Dr. Glicksman is honored to be selected.
Dr. Glicksman truly loves her work as an orthodontist. Her laughter is often heard throughout the office. She enjoys the time she spends with her patients, and finds that seeing them gain self-confidence is the most rewarding part of her practice.
Dr. Glicksman resides in Needham with her husband and her adorable dog, Tucker. Together with their children, Dan and Hannah, they enjoy spending time skiing and exploring the outdoors. Dr. Glicksman also loves to cook and bake, and enjoys reading and knitting.
